ATTENDANCE

Membership in the McHi Band automatically includes attendance at all rehearsals, sectionals, lessons, and performances.  Schedules are given in advance along with a complete calendar of events for the whole year in August.  Absence due to illness or accident will, of course, be excused, however, the director must be notified before performance or as soon as possible.  Accurate records are kept by the directors in regard to attendance to all functions.  When absent, all students must turn a written excuse (within 5 days) signed by their parents.  An unexcused absence from a performance can result in being removed from the McHi Band.
